| Project Title: | Onsite Operational Support to work with Cogeneration Systems Operations Group |
| Description: | The University seeks a Supplier to provide staffing services for personnel to support operations at UNC Chapel Hill Cogeneration Facility and Manning Drive Steam Plant to assist with staffing augmentation. A qualified Vendor shall identify its qualifications to provide augmented staff to ensure continuity of facility operations and demonstrate its past ability to support similar operations in the region. Region is defined as North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Tennessee, and Virginia. The successful Vendor must be able to demonstrate that they are currently supporting power plant / steam plant operations in the southeast region and have the regional depth in the area to interface regularly with our facilities, check on their personnel, and conduct planning and update meetings with the University facilities as necessary and as requested by the University. The type of work conducted by the Vendor must specifically be power plant and /or steam plant operations of a complex nature. Only Vendors that can highly demonstrate they are in the continuous business of providing highly qualified operators to operate high pressure steam plants and electrical generation plants will be considered. This focus must be core to the Vendors’s business, and they must demonstrate recent and extensive success in this field. They must demonstrate the repeated ability to integrate such Vendor staff into the client’s site and operational dynamics. |
