NOTICE TO BIDDERS

BOROUGH OF EDGEWATER

BERGEN COUNTY, NEW JERSEY

Notice is hereby given that sealed bids will be received and opened by the Borough of Edgewater, Bergen County, New Jersey, for the purchase of One (1) NEW “MARINA Work Boat” at Edgewater Municipal Building located at 55 River Road, Council Chambers, 2 ^nd Floor, Edgewater, New Jersey, on Wednesday, January 29, 2025 at 11:00 AM, Local Prevailing Time.

Request for Bid specifications are available electronically by emailing For security reasons, you must enable JavaScript to view this E-mail address. or may be picked up at the Purchasing Department, 55 River Road, Edgewater, New Jersey, from 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday excluding holidays. All questions or concerns should be addressed to the Purchasing Agent at 201-943-1700 Ext. 3133. The Borough reserves the right to examine all bids and if not satisfied with sufficiency thereof, to reject any and all bids in accordance with the Local Public Contracts Law.

Bids must be submitted on Standard Bid Forms furnished by the Borough of Edgewater in the manner designated herein and required by the Specifications.  Each bid must be placed in (1) sealed envelope, addressed to the Purchasing Agent, Borough of Edgewater, 55 River Road – Edgewater, New Jersey, 07020 with the name and address of the Bidder(s) and the words BID FOR: “One (1) NEW MARINA WORK BOAT” ENCLOSED-DO NOT OPEN clearly printed thereon.  All Bids must be accompanied by a non-collusion affidavit.   All bids must be received via mail or hand delivered no later than 11:00 AM, Wednesday, January 29, 2025.   Facsimiles or e-mail submissions will not be accepted. All Bid Statements sent via regular mail or any other carrier shall be at the sole risk of the Bidder.

Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et. seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27 and Executive Order 11246 regarding Equal Employment Opportunity, and the Local Public Contracts Law, N.J.S.A. 40A:11-1 et. seq.  All bids are subject to the requirements of all laws and regulations affecting the same.
