On-Site Off-Shift and Weekend HVAC Mechanic/Building Operations Coverage

SUNY Upstate Medical University Community Hospital (“UPSTATE” or “UMU Community”) is requesting proposals from qualified vendors (“Contractor” or “Bidder”) to provide up to twelve (12) full-time employees for on-site Off-Shift and Weekend HVAC Mechanic/Building Operations coverage. Resulting award(s)/contract(s) will be for an initial period of two (2) years, with an optional three (3) year renewal period.

These are full-time positions, with eight (8) hour shifts.

An estimated three hundred twelve (312) hours each (3,744 total estimated hours), of optional overtime may be available.

The positions will report to Upstate’s HVAC Supervisor, but may also receive direction from the HVAC Manager, Shift HVAC Supervisor, Shift Duty Engineer, or another designated point of contact to be determined by Upstate.

The vendor must be able to meet all of the mandatory bidder qualifications listed in the IFB document. The vendor must review, understand and accept all the terms and conditions in the IFB. In accordance with New York State ("NYS") Lobbying Law §139 requirements, effective immediately, this procurement is in the "Restricted Procurement Period". This restricted period will be in effect until an award for this service has been fully executed. As this procurement is subject to NYS Finance Law §139-j&k, also referred to as the Lobbying Law, vendors are cautioned that the only permissible contact for this procurement is the individual(s) listed in this advertisement and in the IFB document.
