On-Call Work Order Consultant Bench for Strategic Initiatives (10% SBE Goal)

The Regional Transportation District (RTD) seeks to award a contract for Professional Services to one or more consulting companies to provide expertise and consulting resources on an as-needed basis through this Request for Qualifications (RFQual). Services would be utilized to implement One RTD, the agency Strategic Plan and Initiatives, which focus on Back to Basics, People Power, Welcoming Transit Environment, and Customer and Community Connections. Initial areas of implementation include projects needed to maintain a State of Good Repair (SOGR) and assistance with an evaluation and study of office and space planning needs. These and future areas for study and improvement will be determined over the course of the contract and addressed via competitive work orders. Example work efforts may include planning and assisting with coordination and outreach on any number of SOGR projects, economic evaluations and valuations of properties, and assistance with implementing outcomes from the recently completed RTD organizational assessment.

RTD seeks to create a pool of companies with experience in transit and expertise in a broad range of industry sectors and areas. Public sector experience is desired. The Scope of Work is presented in six categories of consultant support and skillsets that are anticipated to be needed as initiatives are undertaken. As needed, RTD will define detailed work order scopes and request proposals from one or more of the pre-qualified, pre-contracted companies selected through this RFQual. Through this RFQual process, companies may propose to pre-qualify for work in one, all, or a select number of the six service categories.
