On-Call Traffic Signal Services

The Village of Schaumburg, IL will accept Qualifications via the Village's e-Procurement Portal, OpenGov ( https://procurement.opengov.com/portal/villageofschaumburg ) for 2025-RFQ-013 , On-Call Traffic Signal Services to be received no later than Friday, February 21, 2025 , 4:00 pm . Qualifications submitted after the specified time will not be accepted.

The Village of Schaumburg Transportation Department (hereinafter village) is seeking a qualified Consulting Engineer (hereinafter Consultant) to provide professional services and consulting advice on various issues involving village wide traffic signal operations. The village maintains and operates traffic signals at 25 intersections and 4 signal systems throughout the village. In recent years, the village has invested in incorporating new technology such as video detection into the village’s traffic signal system at 13 of those intersections, with the remaining 12 using loop detection. Although these investments have improved traffic flow, the village is seeking to achieve further improvement in the overall performance of the village’s traffic signal operations by retaining a qualified Consultant to provide on-call traffic signal services.
