2026 ON-CALL SIDEWALK SPOT REPAIR PROGRAM

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Town of Manchester, Connecticut, herein called the Town, acting by and through its Town Manager will receive sealed Bids for project Bid No. 25/26-48 2026 ON-CALL SIDEWALK SPOT REPAIR PROGRAM . Bids will be accepted via the Town's eProcurement Portal until 2:00 pm on Monday, April 27, 2026 at which time and place said bids will be publicly opened and read aloud.

Bids may be submitted prior to the above scheduled time for the opening of bids or authorized postponement thereof. Any bid received after the time and date specified shall not be considered.

The purpose of this contract is to provide the Town with an on-call contractor for isolated concrete sidewalk and curb repairs and other miscellaneous concrete work required by Town departments. The term of the contract is from Date of Award (estimated on or around May 1, 2026) to November 30, 2026. The quantities shown in the bid proposal are an estimated quantity for bidding purposes only. The Town reserves the right to increase or decrease quantities as the needs of the Town departments arise.

This work includes the isolated spot repair of concrete sidewalk, monolithic concrete curb and sidewalk, concrete sidewalk ramps, and other miscellaneous concrete at various locations within the Town of Manchester as directed by the Engineer.

At the Town’s discretion, this contract may be extended for the 2027 and 2028 construction seasons provided the Town and Contractor mutually agree to extend the contract with annual unit price adjustments per the contract.
