On-Call Services for Administration of Construction Dewatering Regulations

The City seeks proposals from qualified Consultants to provide on-call services to assist City staff in the oversight and management of excavation projects requiring temporary groundwater pumping (dewatering). The three-year contract will be administered by the Public Works Department, Engineering Services Division, Private Development Group.

The City’s dewatering regulations are complex, and City staff do not have the specialized knowledge or available resources to review geotechnical and/or hydrogeological reports, monitor dewatering operations (e.g., pump rates, groundwater drawdown, etc.), and analyze the resulting data needed to effectively administer these regulations.
