On-Call Publishing, Printing, and Mailing Services

The City of Malibu is interested in contracting with a highly qualified consulting firm to provide on-call publishing, printing, and mailing services. These services include producing a variety of print and electronic media.

The City strives to engage residents and promote public participation in all areas of local government. Community outreach materials include public notices, postcards, pamphlets, booklets, invitations, posters, flyers, banners, and other digital and printed graphics. Some of these materials are published and distributed via the United States Postal Service (USPS) to community members, while others are distributed digitally.

Some projects arise on an as-needed basis without advance notice. These materials are commonly produced in relation to community events, Council directives, or other City initiatives. For all projects, the City's ability to freely converse and collaborate with the contractor to make edits (often multiple rounds) is paramount, as is the ability of the Contractor to produce quality documents and meet clearly communicated deadlines.

Please note that qualified consultant firms wishing to provide only one or part of these services are welcome to do so, provided that this is clearly expressed in the proposal and reflected in the scope of services and fee schedule.
