Request for Quotation (RFQ) is to select a qualified firm(s) to haul away construction material debris resulting from utility and public works construction activities. The City is seeking a contract term of five (5) years. The City may award a Blanket Order to multiple firms.
The City of Palo Alto owns and operates all of its utilities and serves a population of approximately 65,000. The Utilities Operations Water, Gas, Wastewater Department manages maintenance and operation of gas and water distribution systems and the wastewater collection system.
The City of Palo Alto's Public Works Department is responsible for the maintenance, repair, replacement and construction of City streets and sidewalks. The responsibilities of the Public Works Department, along with ongoing operation and maintenance in the Utilities operation, generates construction material debris that must be picked up, hauled away and disposed of at an appropriate location.
