NOTICE
Notice is hereby given that the Board of Commissioners of the County of Camden,
New Jersey, is requesting proposals for On-call Materials Testing & Inspection
Services for the County of Camden. Copies of the Request for Proposals are
available by registering to download all documents from the Camden County
website:
http://www.camdencounty.com/service/purchasing-and-procurements/
Proposals must be submitted to the Camden County Division of Purchasing,
Courthouse 520 Market Street, 6th Floor, Camden, NJ 08102. Proposals are
scheduled to be opened on Wednesday September 9, 2026, at 2:00 P.M. Any
proposals received after said opening, whether by mail or otherwise will be
returned unopened. No proposals will be accepted after the above-mentioned
date and time. Proposals must be submitted in sealed envelopes with the name
of the RFP clearly marked on the outside of the envelope. If hand-delivering
proposal must be left in the marked bin accessible from the 6th Street entrance to
the Courthouse. Bin access is M-F 8:30 A.M. to 4:00 P.M. only. Proposals may not
be e-mailed, faxed, or transmitted over the telephone.
Questions shall be emailed to james.winckowski@camdencounty.com and
kyle.ebersole@camdencounty.com, no later than Friday, August 21, 2026 ,at 2:00
PM with the subject line “Question-RFP On-Call Material Testing” marked
IMPORTANT. Questions received after this date and time will not be addressed.
Nothing herein is intended to exclude any responsible firm, or in any way restrain
or restrict competition. All responsible firms are encouraged to submit proposals.
The Board of Commissioners reserves the right to accept or reject any or all
proposals submitted in the best interest of the County and the Board reserves the
right to waive any defect or informality in any proposal should it be in the best
interest of the County.
Proposers are required to comply with the requirements of P.L. 1975, c. 127
(N.J.A.C. 17:27) and N.J.S.A. 10:5-31.
This Request for Proposals does not constitute a bid and is intended solely to obtain
competitive proposals from which the County may choose a contractor(s) that best
meets the County’s needs. It is the County’s intent that no statute, regulation, or
common law bidding requirement applies to this Request for Proposals. The County
intends to award this contract pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40A:11-5(1)(a)(i).
