The Fire Prevention Bureau of the Palo Alto Fire Department is looking for experienced Fire Planning Technicians, Fire and HazMat Plan Reviewers, and a HazMat Environmental Consultant(s). These positions are to assist in the intake of Fire and Hazardous Materials permits, review, comment and deny/approve plans for Fire, HazMat as well as Building Permits which have a Fire/HazMat component.
The Fire Prevention Bureau is looking for experienced Plan Reviewers and Hazardous Materials Environmental Consultants familiar with the Accela Permit Program to review various permit applications for Fire Alarm Systems, Fire Sprinkler Systems and other Fire and hazardous materials related permits. Able to provide environmental consultation to the Fire Marshal, HazMat Inspectors and applicants as needed. Review hazardous materials manifests for HazMat closure permits.
