On-Call Consulting Services - Group 3 (Project Management and/or Construction Management Services; and Plan Check Services)

The County of Yolo is requesting Proposals from qualified consultants and/or firms to provide On-Call Consulting Services countywide for Yolo County, per the scope of work, as outlined in this RFQ.

Proposers who submit a response to this RFQ must have the ability to meet all the requirements, including the terms and conditions contained in this RFQ.

This RFQ is for Group 3 as follows:

· Category A: Project Management and/or Construction Management Services

This is generally defined as providing Construction Management/Project Management related consultation on construction projects; outline how the project is executed and the cost estimates; plan and make adjustments on projects to meet deadlines and objectives; organize the documentation and project structure; complete a risk management plan outlining any potential project hazards; monitor safety of contractors & subcontractors; and make sure that contractors and subcontractors are completing their tasks accurately, within current codes and regulations. Ability to maintain CAD files, etc.

· Category B: Plan Check Services

This is generally defined as providing consultation on construction projects; reviewing construction drawings to ensure compliance with County Building and Municipal Code requirements; and providing problem-solving methods for unique or challenging plan check or code interpretation services, alternative methods of construction, etc.    Ability to maintain CAD files, etc.

A Proposer may submit a response for a single category in this Group (e.g. Category A, or Category B), or multiple categories in this Group (e.g. Category A and Category B).
