On-Call Consulting Services - Group 4 (Construction Building Inspection Services, Special Building Inspections and Material Testing Services, and Asbestos & Hazardous Materials Testing)

The County of Yolo is requesting Proposals from qualified consultants and/or firms to provide On-Call Consulting Services countywide for Yolo County, per the scope of work, as outlined in this RFQ.

Proposers who submit a response to this RFQ must have the ability to meet all the requirements, including the terms and conditions contained in this RFQ.

This RFQ is for Group 4 as follows:

· Category A: Construction Building Inspection Services

This is generally defined as providing inspection services that establish the current condition, remaining design life, and any immediate and future repairs that may be necessary to building structures which may include, but are not limited to: concrete, doors and windows, electrical, finishes, masonry, mechanical, metals, sitework, thermal and moisture protection, wood and plastics; accessibility planning for persons with disabilities; appropriate planning/recommendations for compliance with safety and health requirements historic preservation laws, regulations and orders, fire prevention precautions, etc.  Ability to maintain CAD files.

· Category B: Special Building Inspections and Material Testing Services

This is generally defined as providing inspection and consultation on specific construction projects; testing and observations of materials, fabrication, erection, or placement of components and connections critical

to the structural integrity of building structures, etc.

· Category C :      Asbestos and hazardous materials testing

This is generally defined as providing various hazardous testing services, including various materials and hazardous material assessments (i.e., asbestos, lead, mercury, biohazards and chemicals, mold, etc.).

A Proposer may submit a response for a single category in this Group (e.g. Category A, or Category B, etc.), or multiple categories in this Group (e.g. Category A and Category B, etc.).
