On-Call Consulting Services - Group 5 (Geotechnical Services, Environmental Engineering Services, and Environmental Planning & Permitting Services)

The County of Yolo is requesting Proposals from qualified consultants and/or firms to provide On-Call Consulting Services countywide for Yolo County, per the scope of work, as outlined in this RFQ.

Proposers who submit a response to this RFQ must have the ability to meet all the requirements, including the terms and conditions contained in this RFQ.

This RFQ is for Group 5 as follows:

· Category A: Geotechnical Services

This is generally defined as providing service and expertise related to natural geological systems; geological exploration and mapping; mine planning and design; comprehensive environmental regulatory compliance; and permitting of surface mining sites; evaluating the rock mass and utilizing knowledge of rock mechanics with respect to drilling and blasting and mechanical rock removal; monitoring structures for vibration and movement, and planning for excavations near highways, railroads, and occupied structures; and slope stability analysis includes identifying rockfall hazards and recommending slope stability mitigation.

· Category B: Environmental Engineering Services

This is generally defined as providing environmental engineering-related consultation on specific construction projects, design services, and various environmental-related services related to compliance with state and federal requirements, such as the California Environmental quality Act (CEQA) and the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA); environmental assessments, and jurisdictional permitting requirements, etc.  Ability to maintain CAD files.

· Category C :      Environmental Planning and Permitting Services

This is generally defined providing environmental planning and permitting-related consultation on specific construction projects, design services, and various environmental-related services related to compliance with state and federal requirements, such as the California Environmental quality Act (CEQA) and the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA); environmental assessments, and jurisdictional permitting requirements, etc.  Ability to maintain CAD files.

A Proposer may submit a response for a single category in this Group (e.g. Category A, or Category B, etc.), or multiple categories in this Group (e.g. Category A and Category B, etc.).
