On-Call Bridge Maintenance Services (15% SBE)

This solicitation is to implement bridge maintenance activities on a work order basis. The geographic extent of the work is all RTD bridges, adjacent and attached structures, and culverts owned by RTD.

Work could include, but not be limited to the following:

1. Cyclic activities

• Vegetation control
• General cleaning and power washing
• Cleaning drains to ensure they are functional
• Expansion joint cleaning
• Sealing and waterproofing
• Joints sealing

2. As-needed basis

• Fix defects as they occur or are discovered
• Concrete repair (removing loose concrete, patching, plinth repair, etc.)
• Expansion joint repair and replacement
• Bridge Connection replacement and tightening
• Cleaning and lubricating bearings
• Check and tighten and/or replace bolts
• Coating corroded elements of bridges
• Sign installation (vertical clearance, Identification signs, etc.)
• Erosion repair
• Utility attachment repair (ground wires, lights. etc.)
• Fence replacement
• Protection barriers, and urgent work needed on roadway bridges affecting rail, including bridges owned by other entities
