Owensboro Municipal Utilities will receive sealed bids until 2:00 P.M. (CST) on October 16, 2025 (prevailing time) at which time bids will be opened for the:

BID 25-10-024 EXISTING TRUCK BAY ENCLOSURE

Owensboro Municipal Utilities (OMU) is requesting bids from qualified contractors to enclose an existing truck bay by constructing a framed wall on an existing knee wall to divide the space, additionally frame up a wall to receive a new overhead coiling door. Contractor shall finish the exterior walls with prefinished metal panel to match existing profile and color. This is considered the base project (Base Bid). The truck bay is located at our Transmission & Distribution Building located at 2070 Tamarack Road, Owensboro, KY 42301. All work should be performed in accordance with the attached Construction Document “Attachment A – 12386.1.003 – Permit Set”.

OMU also requests additional pricing (Alternate No. 1) to have the interior walls and ceiling insulated with either rolled or spray foam insulation. Insulation values are noted in “Attachment A – 12386.1.003 – Permit Set”.
