The Texas General Land Office (“GLO”) seeks a highly skilled contractor for coastal deconstruction and submerged reef-building services for the Old Queen Isabella Causeway in Cameron County, Texas (the “Project”).

The overall goal of the Project is to remove the Old Queen Isabella causeway, then transport and place the salvageable materials to create a submerged, engineered reef approximately 10.1 miles offshore of the Brownsville Ship Channel entrance jetties at South Padre Island. The work is located within the Lower Laguna Madre in the vicinity of Port Isabel, Texas, and within the Gulf of Mexico.
