Supplier must be able to supply one (1) MiSeq i100 Plus and the MiSeq i100 Plus Silver Support plan.

The MiSeqi100 Plus system is a benchtop sequencing system from Illumina for whole genome sequencing. This new model will replace two existing traditional MiSeq systems that ODHL has utilized for almost ten years. The i100 can generate up to 100M sequencing reads, run times can be as low as 8-15 hours which means it can generate data four times faster than a traditional MiSeq. Shipping cartridges for the new i100 will be able to be stored at room temperature, this will decrease the burden of high shipping costs with dry ice which are required for current MiSeq cartridges. The cartridge based system will also eliminate the need for weekly and monthly washes. The i100 instrument will also utilize Illumina’s new XLEAP technology, ODHL just finished validating this new chemistry for sequencing runs with existing NextSeq instruments. The XLEAP technology utilizes a novel polymerase, providing faster incorporation during the sequencing by synthesis process, and is more resistant to heat.

ODHL currently has two traditional MiSeqs, and two NextSeqs however with the higher capacity that the i100 Plus can offer ODHL will be able to decommission both traditional MiSeqs. ODHL will then only have to think about three maintenance contracts (one MiSeq i100 Plus and two NextSeqs) instead of four (two traditional MiSeqs, and two NextSeqs) with our current equipment set up.

The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder as determined by the State. Failure to bid all items may result in the bidder being deemed not responsive.

Tarriffs and Shipping to the final destination MUST be included in quoted line item responce. Total invoiced amount can not exceed the amount of purchanse order upon award.
