This purchase request is for mosquito traps and other equipment that are needed to conduct statewide surveillance for West Nile Virus and other mosquito-borne diseases. If this purchase is not made, critical vector surveillance activities would be reduced due to the lack of equipment, which would have a negative impact on the ability of local health agencies to monitor and control vector-borne diseases.

Every year the ODH Zoonotic Disease Program purchases mosquito surveillance equipment to distribute to local health agencies in support of their vector control programs.

Award will be made to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder.

Shipping to be included in the cost of the items being bid.
