ODH is the lead state agency for radiological emergency response and must be prepared for any potential incidents. Handheld Gamma Spectrometers are used to identify unknown gamma radiation emitting radioactive material during a response to a radiological incident.

Identification of the radioactive material is fundamental in allowing a response strategy or protocol to be developed for treatment of contaminated members of the public and for clean-up of the impacted area.

The award will be made to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder.  Shipping is to be included in the cost.
