This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Part 12. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Proposals are being requested and separate written solicitation will not be issued.
Solicitation number 12639526R0001 is issued as a Request for Proposal (RFP) for Official USDA plastic, tamper evident, low frequency radio identification (LF RFID) 840 button-type ear tags approved for cattle and bison.
This acquisition is not set-aside for small business concerns. The applicable North American Industry Classification Standard Code is 334419 The small business size standard is 750 employee This acquisition is an unrestricted requirement. All responsible USDA approved manufacturers of official low frequency 840 devices approved for cattle and bison may submit a proposal which will be considered by the agency.
