The vast majority of these comprehensive programs are targeted for Mercer County’s indigent and under-insured populations with substance abuse and addiction problems under the American Society of Addiction Medicine (ASAM) Criteria to determine the treatment modality most appropriate to the identified level of care needed and to ensure that services are provided in the least restrictive setting possible. Eligible applicants must have licensure from the New Jersey Division of Mental Health and Addiction Services (DMHAS), when applicable.
