Office of Justice Programs Conference Speaker

The Office of Justice Programs (“OJP”), a division of the Department of Public Safety (“DPS”), is seeking a dynamic speaker for its upcoming conference who can deliver an engaging presentation speaking to OJP’s statewide leadership function in providing leadership and resources to reduce crime, improvement of the functioning of the criminal justice system, and specifically, in its assistance of crime victims.

The awarded Contractor will deliver an in-person speaking engagement for OJP’s conference occasion scheduled to be held June 5, 2025. The duration of the presentation will be 90 minutes, from 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. CST. The multi-disciplinary conference will include attendees that include victim advocates, law enforcement officers, prosecutors, and other criminal justice professionals; researchers; tribal services personnel; medical responders; educators; and anyone whose work puts them in contact with victim survivors. Topics for the conference occasion will be wide ranging, spanning many facets of crime victimization and restoration, as well as victim services.
