Office Furniture Removal, Inventory and Storage

The 410th CSB, Regional Contracting Office (RCO) – Miami, intends to award a sole source purchase order to Perdue Office Interiors.

The determination of this sole source procurement is in accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b)(1) only one source is capable. It is the Government's belief that the proposed candidate is the only authorized distributor of STEELCASE Furniture capable of working with already installed workstations, to remove and store it’s current furniture to meet Chief of Staff for USSOUTHCOM issued directive that all future purchases of furniture must be of the same colors, makeup and configuration of the current furniture.

This special notice is not a request for competitive quotes. No solicitation documents are available and telephone requests will not be accepted. However, any business that believes it is an authorized STEELCASE Furniture provider and can integrate these STEELCASE products to the already existing furniture may give written notice to lian.pino.civ@mail.mil by 29 January 2025 8:00 AM EST. A limited competition justification was submitted with the requirement and are part of the contract file.

Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the above requirement. Responses will be considered by the Government; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed acquisition based upon responses of this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.

The objective of this requirement is to efficiently remove, inventory, and store STEELCASE office furniture from the MARFORSOUTH area, while ensuring that all items are preserved for future use and minimizing waste. By storing the removed furniture, we can reduce the need for new purchases and support sustainable practices.
