Auction of Retired City Vehicles & Supplies

The City of Galesburg is auctioning retired vehicles and supplies through PurpleWave Auction .

PurpleWave Auction utilizes a no-reserve auction format, in which the item will sell to the highest bidder. Items can be viewed on the PurpleWave Auction website , and those interested in making a bid will need to create an account. There is no fee to register for an account or to bid on any items. The winning bidder will pay a premium on all purchases, which is 10% of the winning bid. The auction will close on October 28, 2025, and the winning bidder of each item will be notified via email and sent an invoice for payment after the auction is closed. Once the invoice has been paid, the buyer will receive a paid invoice and can make arrangements to pick-up the item.
