Sale of Firearms

SALE OF USED FIREARMS

The City of Galesburg is accepting quotes from Federal Firearms Licensed (FFL) dealers for the sale of used firearms. Bidder will be responsible for picking up the firearms at a designated location to be determined by the City of Galesburg.

SEALED BIDS DUE BY: Thursday, December 18, 2025, at 12:00 pm local time.

Quotes may be mailed to the City of Galesburg to the attention of the Purchasing Agent at PO Box 1387, Galesburg, IL 61402, dropped off in a sealed envelope at the Customer Service counter located on the first floor of Galesburg City Hall at 55 W Tompkins St, Galesburg, IL or emailed to the Purchasing Agent by noon on December 18, 2025. Late submissions will be rejected. City staff will contact the bidders with the results.

Bid documents are available at the office of the Purchasing Agent or by visiting the Access to Bid Documents page on the City of Galesburg’s website at www.ci.galesburg.il.us .
