SUBMITTAL - Scope of Work, Response

Per Section 1.4 Contractor Qualifications of the Scope of Work, the Contractor shall:

Have a minimum of three (3) consecutive years of experience providing Chevrolet parts and repair services within the last five (5) years to municipalities or organizations similar in size and scope to the City of Austin.

Be a manufacturer authorized parts dealer/reseller for Chevrolet vehicles and equipment.

Have and operate a full-time, manufacturer-authorized warranty repair facility that is equipped with all tools, diagnostic equipment and supplies necessary to repair and provide warranty services (when requested by the City) for the specified vehicles and equipment.

The repair facility shall be located within 60 miles of the Texas State Capitol and be able to be reached by email and telephone.

Authorized status shall be demonstrated by one of the following:

Authorized Distributor Certificate: An official certificate issued by the manufacturer confirming the Contractor's status as an authorized distributor, dealer, or reseller.

Dealer Agreement: A copy of the dealer agreement or contract that outlines the Contractor's relationship with the manufacturer and authorization to sell the manufacturer's products.

Letter of Authorization: A letter from the manufacturer specifically stating that the Contractor is authorized to distribute the manufacturer's products.

Have a minimum of two (2) service technicians to work on the specified vehicles and equipment. The Contractor shall submit proof of technician experience, certifications, and training with their bid or within five (5) working days of request by the City.

Per Section 1.8.B of the Scope of Work, Code Red Deliveries, Expedited Repair Services, and Emergency Disaster Services:

To determine if the Offeror is responsible, the City reserves the right to review the Offeror's plan to comply with the requirement to make Code Red deliveries and provide Expedited Repair Services and Emergency Disaster Services as specified in this Scope of Work. Offerors who, in the City's opinion, do not have existing Agreements or resources in place will not be considered for Contract award regardless of their Bid price.
