ODNR Law Enforcement Vehicle After Market Upfitting Service

Clarification - May also use the Sound Off Signal and associated light bar equipment as one acceptable alternative to the Whelan product line.  All other products as posted and delivery time stays within 30 days of vehicles being delivered to ODNR.
The Ohio Department of Natural Resources is requesting bids for: Law Enforcement Vehicle Equipment Upfitting and Decaling

Introduction:
The Division od Parks and Watercraft has been increasing its law enforcement staff for each of the last several years.  As the officer roster increases, so does the need for vehicles for them to utilize.  The Division seeks a Supplier that can perform all after-market equipment upfitting and decal placement as quickly as possible after the vehicle is delivered from the manufacturer.  Having vehicles sit, unusable at DNR headquarters for months before being able to be used where they are so desperately needed in the field is not fair to Ohio taxpayers and state park users.

The current need is for upfitting of (19) Ford F-150 trucks.

The need it to get the vehicles put into service within 30 days after they are delivered from the manufacturer.

Evaluation. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder as determined by the State.

Contract Award. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder by low lot total.  Low lot total will be determined by multiplying the unit cost by the estimated usage listed in the bid and then adding each of the totals together to arrive at a total for all items. Failure to bid all items may result in the bidder being deemed not responsive
