Summary

The Ohio Department of Medicaid (ODM) releases this Request for Applications (RFA) for the purpose of soliciting Applications to identify attorneys admitted to the practice of law in Ohio to serve as Administrative Hearing Examiners, as required by the Ohio Revised Code (ORC) Section 119.09. The rate of compensation under each Contracts resulting from this RFA will be $100.00 per hour for up to 600 hours per State Fiscal Year. These billable hours include the attorney’s presence at pre-hearing proceedings and final hearings, research time, and writing time.

Applications must be submitted in OhioBuys as described in this RFA to be considered. ODM will review the applications on a rolling basis and evaluate the applications in accordance with Attachment B – Application Score Sheet.
