NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Ocean County Board of Health is seeking quotations for photometer supplies for the period April 1, 2026 to March 31, 2027.
Background Information:
The Ocean County Board of Health is tax-exempt government unit. The award of an open-end contract for the provision of HemoPoint Photometer Supplies or equivalent HemoPoint H2 compatible supplies, specifically microcuvettes, optics cleaner and bi-level controls is anticipated to be made by April, 2026 based on the most advantageous terms, price and other factors (such as delivery time) considered. Interested parties must submit quotes by March 18 at 11 a.m. Submissions will be opened and read aloud at 175 Sunset Ave., Toms River, NJ 08755 on March 19 at 11 a.m. Vendors and contractors are required to comply with applicable New Jersey public purchasing requirements; information on requirements and a link to the E-Procurement platform can be found at:

General Requirements:
1. Quotes for HemoPoint H2 photometer supplies are being requested. If an equivalent alternative is proposed, specifications for the alternative must be provided. Items, or compatible equivalents, for which quotes are requested: HemoPoint H2 Microcuvettes 300 boxes of 100 units estimated (600 box maximum), HemoPoint Optics Cleaners 100 estimated (maximum 200) and HemoPoint Bi-Level Controls 75 estimated (150 maximum). The minimum order for all items is zero.
2. Provide line item pricing and upload additional information form and certification in the E-Procurement portal. Estimated and maximum quantities are provided, there is no minimum order.
3. If any warranty in addition to that of fitness for the purpose is included and/or available, provide information on such with quote. If maintenance service is offered provide time period, cost and payment frequency or alternatively, a fee schedule for time and materials. Describe any exclusions to maintenance service.
4. Vendor/contractor shall provide a copy of its W-9 before award of contract.
5. Vendor/contractor shall provide a copy of the New Jersey Business Registration Certificate and Iran, Russia and Belarus prohibited activities disclosure before award of contract.
6. Vendor/contractor shall provide a Certificate of Insurance naming Ocean County Board of Health as additional insured in a minimum amount of $1,000,000/$3,000,000 aggregate general liability; $1,000,000 auto liability each accident, combined single limit for bodily injury and property damage; worker’s compensation in the statutory minimum and employer’s liability coverage of at least $100,000 for each accidental injury and with respect to bodily injury by disease, $100,000 each employee and $500,000 per policy year before award of contract.
