NYS Parks 15% Sodium Hypochlorite deliveries

The Long Island Region is requesting an estimated 25,000 gallons of 15% Sodium Hypochlorite (Liquid Chlorine) for the 2025-26 season, which runs from April 1, 2025 - March 31, 2026.

Vendors must have valid NSF 60 certification.

Delivery locations are as follows:
1) Jones Beach State Park Sewage Treatment Plant
2) Jones Beach State Park Filter Plant
3) Jones Beach State Park West Bathhouse Pool
4) Robert Moses State Park Filter Plant

Park will call for deliveries as needed**
During the summer months while the West Bathhouse pool is operational, we REQUIRE automatic deliveries to this location every Monday and Thursday.

These deliveries range from 50 – 1,000 gallons
Delivery times are 7:00 am – 3:30 pm Monday - Friday
Weekends are 8:00 am – 4:00 pm

**Deliveries must be made in bulk by trucks that meet all local laws and hazardous material handling standards. Trucks must be able to pump chemicals into tanks from a safe distance from the facilities by drivers or operators with the proper classification of license to do so. Sodium hypochlorite should have only a reasonable amount of degradation and should not be diluted or altered in any way.
