PART A – BIDDING REQUIREMENTS & GENERAL
INFORMATION
SECTION A – INVITATION TO BIDDERS
1. RECEIPT OF BIDS
Notice is hereby given that the City Commission of the City of Wilton Manors is accepting sealed
bids for a project known and identified as the NW 3rd Avenue Drainage Improvements Project.
One (1) original, three (3) copies of sealed bids and a digital version saved on a jump/flash drive
will be received by the City of Wilton Manors, Florida at the office of the City Clerk. Bids will be
accepted until May 26, 2026, 11:00 a.m., EST. Any bids received after the time and date specified
will not be considered. Bids will be opened and read in public immediately thereafter in City
Commission Chambers, City of Wilton Manors City Hall, 2020 Wilton Drive, Wilton Manors, Florida
33305.
2. STATEMENT OF PURPOSE
The City of Wilton Manors, Florida (City) is seeking proposals from qualified licensed Contractors
(CONTRACTOR) for improvements to NW 3rd Avenue. The project will require removing existing
stormwater infrastructure on NW 3rd Avenue between NW 23rd Street an NW 20th Street and
installing new 24”, 30”, and 36” drainage pipe and exfiltration trench, along with new drainage
structures, a 24” in-line check valve, and other environmental control measures. The improvements
to 1.83 acres of paved roadways will provide storm runoff attenuation and alleviate flooding.
3. COMPLETION OF WORK
The completion schedule for the work is 180 consecutive calendar days from the issuance of a
Notice To Proceed by the City until substantial completion and 60 consecutive calendar days
from substantial completion until completion of the work. Liquidated damages will be assessed
as stated in the Contract.
4. OBTAINING CONTRACT DOCUMENTS
Copies of the drawings, specifications and other contract documents for the NW 3rd Avenue
Drainage Improvements Project may be picked up at the Office of the City Clerk, Wilton Manors
City Hall, 2020 Wilton Drive, Wilton Manors, FL, 33305, (954) 390-2100 or free of charge online
at www.wiltonmanors.com. Bidding documents will not be issued to sub-bidders.
5. PRE-BID CONFERENCE
There will be no Pre-Bid Conference for this project.
6. BID SECURITY
All bids must be submitted in sealed, opaque envelopes bearing on the outside the name of the
Bidder, his address, the name and number of the project for which the qualification packet is
submitted, and the date of opening. The bids must be made on the standard bid proposal form in
the manner designated therein and required by the Bid Form. All bids shall require a Bid Guaranty
as set forth in Section B, “Instructions to Bidders.”
No bidder may withdraw his bid for a period of 120 calendar days after the date set for bid opening.
