NUISANCE ABATEMENT SERVICES FOR THE LAFOURCHE PARISH GOVERNMENT
The Lafourche Parish Government is interested in procuring the services for an annual service contract for a contractor to provide tall grass cutting of vegetation and debris removal on property as required by the Lafourche Parish Government in accordance with the enforcement of Lafourche Parish Nuisance Abatement Ordinance No. 3895.  The contract is on as needed basis, parish wide, excluding the City of Thibodaux and the Towns of Lockport and Golden Meadow.  Services rendered shall include but are not limited to:
• Cutting and clearing of tall grass, weeds, or other vegetation more than (12) inches in height
• Removal of trash and/or debris from property and/or open land
• Trimming of sidewalks, driveways, fence lines
• Mowing and/or bush hogging
• Standard boarding and securing of abandoned structures
• Removal of debris by hand or utilization of heavy equipment such as dozers, tractors, etc…
• Providing certificates to Lafourche Parish Government which meet all Parish insurance requirements as called for in the Request for Proposals, including, but not limited to:
A. Workers’ Compensation, as required by statute, and Employee’s Liability Insurance, $1,000,000 limits
B. Automobile Liability Insurance, $1,000,000 limit, covering owned vehicles, leased, non-owed and hired vehicles
C. Commercial General Liability insurance, $1,000,000 limit, covering 3rd party bodily injury and property damage.
D. Professional Liability insurance, $1,000,000 limit
If your office is interested in contracting with Lafourche Parish Government to provide this service, please submit your written quote, including individual price quote, suitable information to convey your qualifications and experience, Louisiana State Contractors license, and required proof of insurance to Lafourche Parish Government, ATTN: Solid Waste Department (Felicia), 4876 Hwy 1, Raceland, LA 70394 by 1:00 pm on October 31st, 2024. Lafourche Parish Government reserves the right to reject any and all quotes and the right to disregard all nonconforming or conditional quotes or counter quotes.
