The scope consists, in general, of performing special inspection, material testing, and architectural historic preservation monitoring services during construction of the seismic retrofit of Leimert Boulevard Bridge over Sausal Creek, a historic landmark, that includes, but not limited to, wrapping of concrete members with carbon fiber reinforced polymer (CFRP), treating bridge deck with methacrylate and overlaying with polyester concrete, graffiti removal, structural excavation & backfill, spall repair, replacing portion of railing, replacing utility supports, replacing joint seals, fencing, roadway excavation, vegetation replanting, environmental protection, and traffic control system.
