24-3860 NSTEP Section 108 Phase 1

The City of Greenville is requesting bids for its Special Emphasis Neighborhood (SEN) Project. The scope of services for this project involves construction of approximately 4900 linear feet of a new five-foot wide sidewalk with curb lawn, curb and gutter, driveway aprons, storm drainage improvements, minor site grading, traffic control, pedestrian lighting, demolition and removal of pavement, asphalt patching, installation and maintenance of sediment and erosion control and stabilization, etc., on…

1) COOK STREET - from Mulberry Street to Frank Street, then North, ending at Pine Street, and a portion of Hagood Street. This section is approximately 1700 linear feet. Sidewalk will be located on the North side of Cook and the West side of Frank Street.

2) LONG HILL STREET - from Deoyley Avenue to intersection with Phoenix Avenue. This section is approximately 1190 linear feet. Sidewalk will be located on the West side of the street.

3) PHOENIX STREET - from Long Hill Street to Prosperity Avenue. This section is approximately 455 linear feet. The sidewalk will be located on the West side of the street.

4) TRACTION STREET - from approximately 150 feet South of Pendleton Street to South Textile Avenue. This section is approximately 1550 linear feet. The sidewalk will be located on the Northeast side of the street. The Southwest side of the street is in Greenville County.

The scope of services is outlined more clearly in the construction drawings, specifications, special provisions, and schedule of values included herewith and/or herein.

Special Emphasis Neighborhood (SEN) projects are federally funded.

Bids will be received until 2:00 P.M. ET, December 27, 2023. Promptly thereafter, via Microsoft Teams teleconference, all bids that have been duly received will be opened and read aloud. The deadline for questions is 2:00 p.m., December 13, 2023.
