The Pine Belt Regional Solid Waste Management Authority (Owner) is requesting bids for the construction of the following Project:

Construction of Cell No. 7

Bids for the construction of the Project will be received at the Administration Building of the Pine Belt Regional Solid Waste Management Authority (PBRSWMA) located 5274 Highway 29, Ovett, MS 39464, until August 18, 2026, at 10 a.m. local time. At that time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read.

The Project includes the following Work:

Construction of an approximately 12-acre landfill cell, including excavation, clay liner construction, FML liner installation, and leachate collection and management systems.

Bids are requested for the following Contract: CONSTRUCTION OF CELL NO. 7

Obtaining the Bidding Documents:

Information and Bidding Documents for the Project can be found at the following designated website: www.neel-schafferplans.com

Bidding Documents may be downloaded from the designated website. Prospective Bidders must register with the designated website as a plan holder. All plan holders are required to have a valid email address for registration. The designated website will be updated periodically with addenda, lists of registered plan holders, reports, and other information relevant to submitting a Bid for the Project. All official notifications, addenda, and other Bidding Documents will be offered only through the designated website. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for Bidding Documents, including addenda, if any, obtained from sources other than the designated website. All bid documents must be purchased through the website. The cost of bid documents is non-refundable. Questions regarding website registration and online orders shall be directed to Plan House Printing at 601-336-6378.

“Mississippi Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction, 2017 Edition” as referred to herein may be purchased from the Mississippi Department of Transportation.

A Pre-Bid Conference will be held August 11, 2026, at 10 a.m. local time at the PBRSWMA Administration Building. Prospective bidders are encouraged to attend the meeting and the site inspection immediately following the meeting.
