Prairie Land Water Association is requesting sealed bids for construction of the Water System Improvements

- Part 3: Pressure Filter Rehabilitation project. All bids shall be marked Bids for Prairie Land Water Association – Water System Improvements- Part 3: Pressure Filter Rehabilitation on the outside of the envelope. All bids shall be submitted to the Prairie Land Water Association until 10:00 AM local time, March 11, 2026 at 150 Artesia Road, Columbus, MS 39701. Bids will be opened at Prairie Land Water Association.

Any bid received after 10:00 AM will not be opened. Prairie Land Water Association reserves the right to reject any or all bids. The project generally consists of the construction of Water System Improvements - Part 3: Pressure Filter Rehabilitation.

The plans and specifications for the project are on file for public inspection in the offices of Prairie Land Water Association and the offices of Neel-Schaffer, Inc., 7085 Hwy 45 Alternate North, West Point, MS 39773.

Bid documents are being made available electronically and via original paper copy (if requested). Plan holders are required to register for an account at www.neel-schafferplans.com to view and order Bid Documents. All plan holders are required to have a valid email address for registration. Electronic bids shall be submitted through www.neel-schafferplans.com . Bid documents are non-refundable and must be purchased through the website. The Owner hereby notifies all Bidders that it will affirmatively insure that disadvantaged and woman-owned business enterprises will be afforded the full opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation. Any contract or contracts awarded under this invitation for bids are expected to be funded in whole or in part by anticipated funds from the ARPA Rural Water Associations Infrastructure Grant Program (RWAIG). Neither the State of Mississippi nor any of their employees is or will be a party to this invitation for bids or any resulting or related contracts. This procurement will be subject to all applicable sections of the Mississippi Code of 1972, Annotated, as they apply to local governments, in accordance with RWAIG Program Regulations.
