Summary

Pasadena Water and Power ("PWP"), a department of the City of Pasadena ("City"), is soliciting bids from qualified vendors to furnish and deliver a Three-Way NOx Water Valve for a GE LM6000 PC Turbine at the Glenarm Power Plant as outlined in this bid specification.

Background

PWP’s Glenarm Power Plant consists of five (5) natural gas-fired combustion turbine units (GTs). GT-1, GT-2, GT-3, and GT-4 are simple cycle units and GT-5 is a combined cycle unit. GT-1 and GT-2 are 1970’s-era Curtiss-Wright simple cycle gas turbines each rated at 26 MW. GT-3 and GT-4 are GE LM6000 simple cycle gas turbines with a capacity of 47 MW each. GT-5 is a combined cycle unit with a GE LM6000 gas turbine and Shin Nippon Steam Turbine with a total combined capacity of 71 MW.
