NOTICE OF SINGLE SOURCE TO THE PUBLIC
Shelby County Government has identified a single source purchase for the goods/services as
listed below. This notice is not a request for bid, proposal, or qualifications.
Single Sole – UNMANNED AIRCRAFT SYSTEM FOR SEARCH AND
RESCUE
The identified vendor will:
Provide Unmanned Aircraft Systems with thermal imaging camera, zoom, and wide angle
capabilities along with speakers for search and rescue missions. Capabilities should include the
ability to create 2D, 3D topographic models, and thermal mapping for rapid deployment, safety,
and enhanced visibility. ALL Components of the Unmanned Aircraft Systems must be made in
the USA, and manufactored in the USA. Reference H.R. 2670 National Defense Authorization
Act for Fiscal Year 2024.
1. 2-qty Unmanned Aircraft Systems with attached Camera, Speaker, and Spotlight
Thermal camera, wide angle and zoom
Operational Controller with Monitoring Screen
Waterproof cases for Unmanned Aircraft System with portable power supply
Batteries for Flight and Controller
Battery Charging Case
2. 1-qty Tethering System for Unmanned Aircraft System
3. Note: ALL Components of the Unmanned Aircraft Systems must be made in the USA,
and manufactored in the USA. Reference H.R. 2670 National Defense Authorization Act
for Fiscal Year 2024.
