ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
Sealed proposals will be received by the Town of Stony Point at the offices of the Town Clerk, Town of Stony Point, 74 East
Main Street, Stony Point, New York, 10980, until 10 am local time June 4, 2026, for the "PATRIOT HILLS GOLF COUSE
WATER IRRIGATION PROJECT", and then at said office, publicly opened and read aloud.
SCOPE OF WORK: The proposed project consists of the installation of approximately 3,600 lf of 6"PVC C-900 watermain
for water irrigation supply. The new 6" watermain shall extend from an existing pond to a new water booster pump
station which will convey water to an existing water storage tank on the property. The contract also includes the
installation of a water booster pump station with associated pumps, control panels and building, clear well, intake pipe
and all other associated appurtenances as depicted on the project drawings.
Copies of the Contract Documents MAY ONLY BE OBTAINED at Lanc & Tully Engineering and Surveying, D.P.C., 3132
Route 207, Campbell Hall, NY 10916, Phone (845) 294-3700, between the hours of 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. Persons shall leave
name, correct mailing address and phone and fax number, along with a $100.00 deposit for each set. The deposit shall be
in the form of check or money order ONLY, for each set, and shall be drawn payable to the TOWN OF STONY POINT, to
be refunded in accordance with Section 102 of General Municipal Law. Addenda, if any will be issued only to those persons
whose name and address are on the record as having obtained the contract documents. Bids will be accepted from only
those persons whose name and address are on the record as having obtained the contract documents. Documents may
be obtained via electronic means at NO CHARGE by contacting Lanc & Tully, D.P.C. at (845)294-3700.
Each bid shall be accompanied by an acceptable form of Bid Guarantee in an amount equal to at least five (5) percent of
the amount of the Bid payable to the Town of Stony Point as a guarantee that if the Bid is accepted, the Bidder will execute
the Contract and file acceptable Performance and Labor, Material Payment Bonds, and Certificate(s) of Insurance within
ten (10) days after the award of the Contract.
A pre-bid meeting shall be held at the Patriot Hills Golf Course located at 19 Club House Lane, Stony Point, New York
10980 at 10:00 am on May 19, 2026. All prospective bidders are highly encouraged to attend in order to review the
existing conditions and overall project with the Town and Golf Course Officials.
OWNERS RIGHTS RESERVED: The Town of Stony Point, hereinafter called the Owner, reserves the right to reject any and
all Bids and to waive any formality or technicality in any bid in the interest of the Owner.
STATEMENT OF NON-COLLUSION: Bidders on the Contracts are required to execute non-collusion bidding certificates
pursuant to Section 103d of the General Municipal Law of the State of New York.
LABOR STANDARDS: Attention of bidders is particularly called to the requirement as to conditions of employment to be
observed and minimum wage rates to be paid under the contract, Section 3, Segregated Facilities, Section 109, and
Executive Order 11246. The requirements for Bidders and Contractors under this order, which concerns non-
discrimination in employment, are explained in the Contract Documents. Bidders are also required to comply with the
provisions of Section 291-299 of the Executive Law of the State of New York.
EQUAL OPPORTURNITY CLAUSE: The bidder agrees to abide by the requirements under Executive Order No. 11246, as
amended, including specifically, the provisions of the equal opportunity clause.
APPRENTICESHIP TRAINING PROGRAM POLICY: It is the policy of the Town of Stony Point that an Apprenticeship Program
shall be implemented for any construction contract of more than $250,000.00
