NOTICE TO BIDDERS

The Marshall County Board of Supervisors will receive sealed bids in the office of the County

Administrator, 111 South Market Street, Post Office Box 219, Holly Springs, Mississippi 38635,

until 10:00 A.M., Friday, March 13, 2026 or bids may be submitted electronically at

www.centralbidding.com at which time they will be opened publicly and read for the following:

Hot Mix Asphalt to be picked up at plant:

State Aid Specification

4.75 mm St Mix

9.5 mm St Mix

12.5 mm St Mix

19 mm St Mix

25 mm St Mix

@$______________ per ton

All other vendor formulas with specifications and use information.

All bids will reflect specified plant pick up and demurrage.

All bids shall be subject to the price adjustment clause in relation to the cost to the contractor

based upon industry-wide cost index, all as set forth by Section 31-7-13(i), Mississippi Code of

1972, Annotated, as amended.

Asphalt price adjustments shall be made according to Mississippi State Highway

Department Special Provisions.

Vendor shall be responsible for any adjustments in price.

Vendor shall meet or exceed the MDOT Specifications.

Bid prices will be for a period of 12 months, April 1, 2026 until April 1, 2027. Specifications may

be obtained by calling the County Administrators Office at 662-252-7903. Envelopes containing

bids must be sealed and marked on the outside lower left hand corner: Bid for Marshall County

Road and Bridge Asphalt, March 13, 2026 at 10:00 a.m.

The Board reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any and all formalities in the

best interest of the County.
