The City Council of the City of Winston-Salem will consider a waiver of competitive bidding under N.C.G.S. 143-129(g) at its regular meeting on October 6, 2025 for the award of a contract for guardrail purchase and installation to Nickelston Industries, Inc., the seller having agreed to extend to the City the same or more favorable prices and terms set forth in its contract with the North Carolina Department of Transportation, entered into on June 17, 2025.  For additional information, contact the City/County Purchasing Department at (336) 747-6933.
