NOTICE OF REQUEST FOR BIDS MARQUETTE COUNTY LAND BANK AUTHORITY (MCLBA) Building Stabilization of the Anderson Building 100 Pearl Street Ishpeming, Michigan 49849

T he Marquete County Land Bank Authority (MCLBA) is hereby soliciting proposals from qualified vendors to complete building stabilization activities of the Anderson Building located at 100 Pearl Street in Ishpeming, Michigan. The MCLBA is funding this project through the use of a Blight elimination Grant from the Michigan State Land Bank Authority; the project will be conducted incompliance with grant requirements, including reporting requirements. Antonio Adan, Executive Director of the MCLBA, is the primary point of contact for the project. Stabilization includes removal and reconstruction of the building’s east wall and related structural work, replacement of entrance doors, storefronts, and windows.

A mandatory bid walkthrough is included in this proposal process on August 21, 2025 at 12:00pm EDT.

Questions regarding this RFP shall be submited in writing by August 25, 2025 at 3:00 pm EDT, directed to Antonio Adan, and submited to both landbank@mqtco.org andbpolzin@bjparchitects.com. Responses will only be generated for questions received in writing. A writen response to all questions asked will be provided to all responding bidders via email by endof-day August 29, 2025 at 3:00pm EDT

The following shall be the minimum contents of the proposal: the completed Bid Form and proof of insurance or a leter from contractor’s insurance company indicating insurance can be obtained in accordance with the specific terms identified in Appendix A, and a Bid Bond There will be a public bid opening of the sealed bids during the MCLBA meeting on September 9, 2025, at 3:00pm EDT at the Marquete County Courthouse Annex, Room 41.
