NOTICE OF 2026 PROFESSIONAL CONTRACTS
The Township Committee of the Township of Millburn has awarded the following contracts, some professional of which without formal competitive bidding unless otherwise noted, pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40A:11-2(6) and N.J.S.A. 40A:11-5(1)(a)(i) and/or N.J.S.A. 40A:11-5(a)(a)(ii) at their June 18, 2026 meeting. Once executed, this contract and/or the resolution, as applicable, authorizing it are available for public inspection in the Office of the Township Clerk, Millburn Town Hall, 22 East Willow Street, Millburn, NJ 07041. The contract is authorized for one year through December 31, 2026 unless otherwise detailed in the contract.
Professional Service Contracts/Award of Contracts
Awarded to: TRC Environmental Corporation, 41 Spring Street, Suite 102, New Providence, NJ 07974
Services: Licensed Site Remediation Professional services and for the purpose of undertaking the
remediation of the site located at the corner of Essex and Main Streets upon Block 701, Lot 6, more commonly known as the Former Exxon Station
Amount: As set forth in the proposal dated May 12, 2026 which describes the necessity for an additional budget in the amount of $28,000.00
Awarded to: LEW Environmental Services, 181 US Highway 46, Mine Hill, NJ 07803
Services: Lead Inspection Services for the Township of Millburn
Amount: as set forth in the submitted proposal; Initial Lead Inspection Fee Percentage: 80% Contractor / 20% Township; Lead Re-inspection Fee Percentage: 100% Contractor / 0% Township
Term: July 1, 2026 - June 30, 2027, with two, separate one-year option years to be individually executed at the sole discretion of the Township, commencing July 1, 2027 – June 30, 2028 and July 1, 2028 – June 30, 2029.
Awarded to: Suburban Consulting Engineers
Services: for additional professional engineering, environmental investigation, remediation
oversight, regulatory compliance, reporting, and filing requirements mandated by NJDEP
and Green Acres related to the Taylor Park playground renovation project
Amount: additional required work and hereby approve an additional budget of up to $117,670.00
