NOTICE OF INVITATION TO BID ON CITY OWNED PROPERTY
CITY OF JACKSON
Notice is hereby given that sealed bids will be received by the City Clerk of the City of Jackson, Mississippi before
3:30 p.m. on Tuesday, June 23rd, 2026, for the purchase of certain City-owned property: parcel 70-79, located on
218 E. Cohea Street in Jackson, Mississippi. Bidding for the property will start at $500.00. The City will retain all
mineral rights it owns, together with the right of ingress and egress to remove same from said property. For

BID INSTRUCTIONS: All bids must be placed in a sealed envelope and delivered to the City Clerk of the City of Jackson,
(located in City Hall at 219 S. President St. Jackson, Mississippi 39201), or submitted through PH Bidding Group
bid@phbidding.com. If submitted to the City Clerk, the outside of the envelope must be plainly marked to identify
the parcel number being bid on, along with the bidder's name. Enclose one (1) original and one (1) copy of the bid.
Bids will be opened on Tuesday, June 23rd, 2026, at 3:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers at City Hall, 219 South
President Street, Jackson, Mississippi.
Preferential preference will be granted to all equivalent high bidders that submitted an application to the Surplus
Property Committee. If multiple equivalent high bidders submitted applications, a re-bid process utilizing the Best
and Final Offer (BAFO) between those bidders will be granted to determine a winner. If multiple equivalent high
bidders persist after BAFO, the re-bid process will be repeated, if necessary, until a sole high bidder is certified.
If multiple equivalent high bidders did not submit applications to the Surplus Property Committee, a re-bid process
utilizing the Best and Final Offer (BAFO) between those bidders will be granted to determine a winner. If multiple
equivalent high bidders persist after BAFO, the re-bid process will be repeated, if necessary, until a sole high bidder
is certified.
If multiple equivalent high bidders consist of, one equivalent high bidder that submitted an application to the Surplus
Property Committee and the other equivalent high bidder(s) that did not submit an application to the Surplus
Property Committee, preferential preference will be granted to the bidder that submitted an application to the
Surplus Property Committee.
City reserves the right to reject any and all bids
