Notice of Intent to Sole Source - Rosa Recon Preventive Maintenance

DESCRIPTION NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLICIT SOLE SOURCE- Zimmer US, Inc. Requirement: The Vendor, Zimmer Biomet shall provide all labor, personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision and other items and services necessary to perform the preventative maintenance on the ROSA Robot. The ROSA Knee System is proprietary to OEM Zimmer US, Inc. Any interested sources shall provide a Letter of Authorization from the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) Zimmer US, Inc. Period of Performance: Period of Performance: Base 04/01/2026 - 03/31/2027 The proposed procurement is for a service which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one brand name under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 -- Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. 41 U.S.C. 3304(a)(1). The North American Industry Classification System code (NAICS) for this requirement is 811210. All responsible sources that feel they should be considered qualified to provide the above-mentioned service may submit a response to this notice (by the response due date shown above) to Joseph.Horn@va.gov . The information provided shall include detailed (and relevant) documentation to allow the government to perform adequate market research and make a proper determination. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct an unrestricted open market procurement. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. THERE IS NO SOLICITATION AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME. REQUESTS FOR A SOLICITATION WILL NOT RECEIVE A RESPONSE.
