Description
This is a Notice of Intent and NOT a request for quotation. No solicitation document will be issued, and quotations will not be requested.
The National Institutes of Health (NIH) plans to award a firm fixed-price purchase order to Integra Lifesciences Corporation, located at 1100 Campus Road, Princeton, NJ 08450-6550.
The Department of Perioperative Medicine requires Integra cordless headlights. These headlights are requested by all surgeons for use in various surgical procedures to improve visualization and lighting in the operating field. The cordless design allows surgeons unrestricted movement around the room.
Key Benefits of the Headlight System:
- Even illumination across a wide range of surgeries
- Cool LED lighting eliminates heat concerns
- Enhanced color rendition for better visualization of critical anatomy
- Lamp life exceeding 25,000 hours for consistent brightness and reduced costs
- Adjustable fit with a simple two-point system for all head sizes
- Whisper-quiet negative-flow cooling system
- Convenient 4-position intensity switch mounted on the headband
- Lightweight design with a 20-foot power cord reducing clutter from floor stands and fiber optics
- Battery-powered for untethered movement within and between operating rooms
- Cool, bright, quiet, and comfortable lighting
- Greater freedom of movement during procedures
The Department already uses several sets of this headlight. To maintain standardization, the purchase will match the existing system’s charging stations and batteries.

- 90622 / Duo Lithium-Ion Batteries / 2 units
- 906200US / Duo Headlight 2 Bay System / 6 units
