Description of Intended Products or Services Provided:

System Enhancements Software along with annual support and maintenance will be purchased under this waiver. The system monitors county-wide Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) activity capturing performance metrics with direct implication to public safety operations and clinical performance. FirstWatch is patented Intellectual Property in the United States, Canada, New Zealand as well as in
Australia. No other party is authorized to perform or provide the carious system support functions and ongoing maintenance responsibilities as there is no outside access to the proprietary FirstWatch IP source code.

The public purpose of this purchase is to provide real time data on response times and to provide increased situational awareness, improved operational effectiveness and better outcomes. The software will also improve clinical performance with a connection with the Image Trend PCR software and Computer Aided Dispatch software by monitoring adherence to patient care protocols and call response. The software will also provide alerts to crews for incidents and recognition of suspicious activity. Additionally, FirstWatch offers interactive features with First Arriving, a digital dashboard software the division as acquired to improve communications and interactions with the field.
