Notice of Intent to Sole Source - Reinhausen Manufacturing

The Department of Energy (DOE), Western Area Power Administration (WAPA), Rocky Mountain Region (RMR), intends to acquire on a Sole Source basis the direct replacement of three (3) oil vessels installed on Reinhausen On Load Tap Changers, located at Shiprock Substation from Reinhausen Manufacturing Inc., 2549 North 9th Avenue, Humboldt, TN 38343. (A copy of the Single Source Justification is attached to this notice.) The resulting procurement will be conducted in accordance with FAR Parts 12 and 13. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS/QUOTES. Responsible sources may submit a capability statement in response to this requirement, which shall be considered by the Agency. Capability statements must be received NO LATER THAN 5:00 p.m. (EST) on December 6, 2024, and shall include documentation on offeror’s ability to satisfy the Government’s requirements. A determination by the Government not to compete based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
