NOTICE OF INTENT TO MODIFY CONTRACT

Description: The United States Agency for International Development in Vietnam (USAID/Vietnam) hereby provides notice of its intention to modify TO No.72044020F00002 with DAI Global LLC to extend the period of performance of the TO, which is a Cost Plus Fixed Fee, completion type, by one and a half years from June 30, 2025, to December 30, 2026, with no increase in the Total Estimated Cost (TEC).

The statutory authority permitting this contract modification without providing full and open competition is AIDAR 706.302-70(b)(5), which provides an exception to full and open competition “for the continued provision of highly specialized services when award to another resource would result in substantial additional costs to the government or would result in unacceptable delays.”

Under this proposed modification, the Contractor will implement interventions to achieve five objectives including (i) improving and expanding community forest management, (ii) increasing conservation friendly enterprises in forest-dependent communities, (iii) increasing functionality of law enforcement system for forest crimes, (iv) improving production forest management practices and (v) mobilizing domestic resources for forest management and protection.

This is not a formal solicitation, and this synopsis is not considered a Request for Proposals. No solicitation document is available.
